How it works

Four simple steps. A neutral law office holds everything until both sides have delivered — no trust required between strangers.

1 Buyer pays

Payment to the firm

Your funds go to the neutral law office — never directly to a stranger, and held safely until the deal completes.

2 Seller ships

Card sent to the vault

The card owner ships to the same office, knowing the buyer's funds are already secured and waiting.

3 Verified

Both arrive & checked

The firm confirms the payment has cleared and the card matches the listing before anything moves.

4 Complete

Everyone gets paid

The seller receives your funds and you receive the card — the deal closes with both sides made whole.

Why escrow

High-value cards deserve high-value protection. Here's what the Vault gives you that a direct sale can't.

Safer

Neither party can be scammed. Funds and cards are held by a neutral law office until both obligations are met — so no one sends first and hopes for the best.

Fast

Once both the payment and the card reach the firm, verification and release happen quickly. No long disputes, no chargebacks, no waiting games.

Secure

A real law office stands behind every transfer. Your money is protected the moment it's sent, and the card the moment it's shipped.

Simple, flat fees

The escrow fee is tiered by card value. The seller decides whether they cover it or the buyer does — you'll always see who pays before you commit.

Add shipping insurance

Through the same law firm, you can add insured shipping so both parties are protected in transit — if a card is lost or damaged on the way, no one is left holding the loss.

What we do — and don't do. MPC does not inspect or grade cards. We simply facilitate the transfer process through a neutral law office so both parties get what they're owed: the seller gets paid, and the buyer gets the card as listed. Grading and condition claims remain the seller's responsibility.
